Security Coordinator/Duty Manager
Based either LHE or ISB – but able to travel weekly between the stations
Off airports
- Receive and disseminate information/communications from PSA and Local airport
- Arrange for changes to programme or last minute modifications to plans
- Arrange ad-hoc transport and logistical arrangements LHE/ISB
- Coordinate KHI as necessary
- Arrange airport to airport (LHE-ISB or ISB-LHE) movements
- Local liaison with hotels for ad-hoc security matters – including routine visits
- Respond to ad-hoc security tasking (eg risk assessments for locations)
- Once movement restrictions are lifted – arrange security for visits/travel
- Respond to changing vehicle requirements (eg additional or new vehicles
On-Airport
- Build a close relationship with ASF – co-ordinate with them to ensure efficient operation
- Monitoring of DfT additional security measures
- Oversight of security search on aircraft including placement of test pieces (or oversight of TCO)
- Conduct regular audits of all security activity
- Ensure aircraft is secured if left overnight
- Coordination and liaison with Gerry Dnata security section
- Ensure appropriate aircraft protection is in place (routine audit)
General
- Weekly security meeting with PSA
- Transmission of any security concerns including changes to risk (protest, planned route changes etc)
- Collection and dissemination of weekly audit findings
- Hosting and coordination of senior staff visits
- To be the first point of contact for PSA – able to elevate issues to PSA management where appropriate
6. Liaison point for the PCAA on security and border matters (when not dealt with by station manager)
- Our preference is for someone with knowledge of airport security operations (either civilian (former airline/airport security) or military (ASF) )
- Understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements for the ASF, PCAA and DfT is essential
- Good IT and literary skills
